I am seeking information concerning assay simvastatin in human serum
especially using HPLC. I was studying bioavailability of simvastatin
in human health, I can't find simvastatin in serum after assay it
using HPLC. Does anybody can help me. Thank you very much.

We have performed some studies on bioequivalence of simvastatin.
However, the method employed was hplc coupled to MS-MS (SOP is
available on request). I am afraid hplc with uv detection will not be
sensitive enough (0.1 ng/ml LOQ required).

simvastatin in human plasma,with LOQ of 0.1 ng/ml.
