All- I have attached a link for a course entitled "Principles of
Pharmacokinetics and Toxicokinetics for the Industrial Scientist". This
is a good intro level course held in Tucson, AZ in November and in May.

Dear Dan,
Kemic is well known in the pharmaceutical industry for the high quality
of its instructional courses in PK and related topics. {I'm not in any
way biased, of course! :) } These courses are offered at various venues
in North America and have also been presented on-site (in-house) for
major pharmaceutical companies and the Canadian HPB (TPP).
Further information can be found on the Kemic web site at:

Dan:
The University of Wisconsin in Madison has an excellent 5-day PK course.
The course is entitled "Pharmacokinetics, Bioavailability and
Bioequivalence" and is taught by Prof. Ron Burnette from the School of
Pharmacy and C.T. Viswanathan from the FDA. Lots of emphasis on practical
examples, just enough math to make the point but not overwhelm those of us
who are calculus-challenged, and a very good presentation on the
interrelationship of PK terms. The course I took was taught entirely by
Ron Burnette due to a last minute conflict by the other speaker. It was a
tour-de-force performance.

Art Atkinson has a good course on the web. You can get to it
at http://www.cc.nih.gov/ccc/principles
You might also consider the various teaching topics on our
web site (www.lapk.org). There is also a hands on PK/PD workshop in
Pamplona, Spain, that was originally scheduled for September 27-29,
but which has now been rescheduled for January 24-26, because of the
recent events.
