Dear Dr.Ananda,
If your drug is converted by esterase, you add esterase inhibitor like
paraxoan or sodium fluoride to the plasma and add the drug of various
concentration and create a standard curve.
Also in the pharmacokinetic samples (invivo samples), collect the blood
along with the esterase inhibitor.
Hope this helps.

this IS IN RESPONSE TO THE QUESTION RAISED BY Dr vakily on ester
prodrug stability studies. We are also interested in such in vitro
stability
assays for ester prodrugs. Can human intestinal cell lines be used for
such
stability assays? how much do they correlate to in vivo situations?
