Please can someone direct me to sources that provide information on
plasma concentration, turnover and distribution of albumin in mice,
rats, monkeys and man?
I'm also looking for the same information for IgG.
Many thanks for any assistance.

Dear Syed,
A useful reference to have, thank you.
Dog seems to have a large fraction of protein that is not
albumin/alpha-1-acid glycoprotein and I'd like to hear whether this
concurs with people's experience(s).

Hi Syed,
Thanks for the information on albumin plasma concentrations in
different species.
I have the ratio of amount of albumin (extravascular:intravascular) as
1.5 for rats and man (Katz J et al. (1970) Clin Sci. 39:705-724 and
Rothschild (1979) New Eng J Med. 301:497-498, respectively).
Also, Vd of albumin in man is 0.11 L/kg (Rowland and Tozer, 2nd Ed
1988).
Can anyone fill in the gaps for mice, rats and monkeys?
Any information on turnover for albumin?
Any information would be helpful.
Thanks,
Charlie
