Hi,
Anyone happen to know the hepatocellularity in Monkey.
Thanks

The closest I can recall is a paper that indicates 1.2 10^8 cells/gram
of liver for humans.
Soars MG, Burchell B, and Riley RJ (2002) In vitro analysis of human
drug glucuronidation and prediction of in vivo metabolic clearance. J
Pharmacol Exp Ther 301: 382-390
I hope this helps

A recent comprehensive study of human microsomal protein (MPPGL) and
hepatocellularity (HPGL) per gram of liver in human is reported in the
following paper:
Barter ZE, Bayliss MK, Beaune PH, Boobis AR, Carlile DJ, Edwards RJ,
Houston JB, Lake BG, Lipscomb JC, Pelkonen OR, Tucker GT and Rostami-
Hodjegan A (2007) Scaling factors for the extrapolation of in vivo
metabolic drug clearance from in vitro data: reaching a consensus on
values of human microsomal protein and hepatocellularity per gram of
liver. Curr Drug Metab 8:33-45.
In the abstract it says:
"We have collated and analysed data from a number of sources, to
provide weighted mean(geo) values of human MPPGL and
HPGL of 32 mg/g (95% Confidence Interval (CI); 29 - 34 mg/g) and 99 x
10^6 cells/g (95% CI; 74 - 131 mg/g), respectively."
