Hi everyone,
I?m having a problem with the solubility of a substance that is
supposed to be applied to mice intraperitoneally. It is called
Galactosylceramide. It solubility in water is very restricted and I am
trying to fingure out an adequate vehicle. The supplier provides it
only with Pyridin as solvent in which it can be solved. I have
attached the structure as .gif file.
Thanks in advance,
Sergej

For I.P. try Solutol (start at 1% and go up to 10%)-- it solubilizes a
lot of stubborn compounds nicely.
Solutol is made by B.A.S.F. in Germany.
