Dear Dr. Ramesh,
I think we may need more information as to what you wish to
achieve; if I assume you might be looking to do NCA then WinNonlin's NCA
Wizard has a simple check box on the dosing tab to allow you to enter
tau etc. I can't attach a screen shot on this discussion board but this
option is quite easy to find in the online help and example tutorials
provided with the software. These tutorials also cover some simple
compartmental examples; if you are interested in learning more about
this I recommend "PKPD Data Analysis: Concepts and Applications", 4th
edition, Swedish Pharmaceutical Press, 2006." by Drs. Johan Gabrielsson,
and Dr Dan Weiner that includes example WNL code and data for all the
models discussed.
Similarly there are tutorials provided with the program which
step through how to use some statistical 'wizards' for different trial
designs; or you could attend one of our own training courses held
regularly in Europe and the US.
Also you may be interested to know that following the success of
a similar course in Mumbai in 2007; Pharsight is planning a training
course in Hyderabad this October. Please look at the link
http://www.pharsight.com/training for more information and to register
your interest.
Best regards,
Simon.
