Dear Pharmacometrics friends and colleagues,
We are pleased to introduce a new scientific organization, the American Society of
Pharmacometrics (ASoP)! The vision of The American Society of Pharmacometrics (ASoP) is to
promote and advance the discipline of Pharmacometrics and broaden its impact through
scientific innovation, integration of knowledge and skills across disciplines, and a
positive impact on biomedical R&D.
Membership benefits include: a discount on ACoP meetings and ASoP educational activities;
access to the ASoP directory and career site; and opportunities to participate as an ASoP
committee member, committee chair, board member, or officer. Benefits that are still
being negotiated but are coming soon are a pharmacometrics journal associated with ASoP,
and reduced membership and conference fees for other organizations. As more members
become involved and share their ideas, we will undoubtedly add a number of new membership
benefits over time.
ASoP welcomes and encourages membership and leadership from the international
pharmacometrics community. Membership fees are $150/year ($50 for trainee members) and
lasts through the end of 2012. Members who join in 2011 are considered ASoP Founding
Members. We are also currently soliciting for volunteers to serve on several committees
and our Board of Directors. More information about ASoP Committees and the Board of
Directors, as well as volunteer and nomination forms, are available on the ASoP website.
You can learn all about ASoP by visiting our website at: http://www.go-asop.org/

We hope that you will join us in this exciting venture and help further the discipline of
Pharmacometrics!
Best regards,
The ASoP 2011 Board of Directors
