Hello everyone
Back on-line... That latest email virus was a real bear. Our campus
email server was down from Thursday until today. Since I usually use
it for sending out the messages AND I was receiving a lot of bounced
messages from bad hosts/users (over 2700 from the mail out last
Wednesday evening) I decided to wait at least until the campus server
was running again.
Shortly after the virus hit the campus server it was restarted once
or twice. I've noticed that I received 13 copies of the weighting
summary that I sent out...hopefully this did happen with too many
recipients or messages.
If you didn't receive a message or two because your email server was
down...I had quite a few messages from servers that they weren't
receiving mail...check out the PharmPK archive. I'll have the new
messages indexed soon...check after the weekend.
Note that the list is moderated, and I intend to keep it that way,
messages aren't sent out until I have a chance to review them. I
usually do this most evenings. HOWEVER, over the summer there may be
extended periods (hopefully no more than a few days) when I won't be
able to review the messages and forwarded them. No need to resend
your message unless you don't see it in the 'next' batch or two.
Hopefully this message will find you and your computer in good health.
