Dear Colleagues,
We performed a study in order to determine when and where and at what
percent a lipid carrier releases its content. We labeled the 3H-carrier
and the 14C-content and adminstered (IV) the loaded carrier to mice. at
various time intervals we took the blood and several organs for
radioactivity determination 3H or 14C. We observed about 70% of the
administered dose of 3H-lipid carrier and 74% of 14C-content in the
liver from time zero to 48 h. These levels are maintened constant.
When empty carrier (no content) is adminstered we observed 47% of the
administered dose of 3H in the liver for all times studied.
When the content alone is adminstered we observed only 7% of the
administered dose in the liver for all times studied.
My Question is Can we say and based on the above results that our
carrier is not releaseing its content at all times studied.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Abdel
