Could some one please provide me with a reference on multiple dosing
half
life (MRT * 0.693). This half life is very useful for deriving dosing
interval for a drug that obeys muticompatmrnal elimination kinetics.

Good explanation in "Pharmacokinetics' by Gibaldi and Perrier. It
isn't really 'multiple dosing half-life, it is 'effective half-life'
because it can be calculated from single dose MRT values.

Dear Aziz,
This (MRT * 0.693) is what has been referred to as the
effective half-life of a drug requiring a
multi-compartment model in Pharmacokinetics (Second
Edition) by Gibaldi & Perrier (p 412).

Dear Brian:
Than you very much for your response. This is a very helpful
information. I
think quoting effective half-life for a drug obeying muticompartmental
kinetics is clinically more meaningful for determing dosing interval.
Regards,
Aziz
