Dear Forum member,
I got some wistar male rat infected with bacteria Bordetella
Bronchiseptica. Does any one know if his bacteria can have an impact on
streroid levels or gonadal function in rats. Could these bacteria have
a significative influence on drugs kinetic release in rats.
Thanking you in advance for your help.
Happy new year.

Dear Dr. Magnan,
This type of infection is common in dogs. Yes, it will effect the
pharmacokinetics of your drug in rats as their normal physiology is
altered and you have an inflammatory conditions in the lungs.
