Dear Sir
My question is:
If the route of administration of the drug is oral, is
it possible to have different half lives in two
populations even if other parameters like Cmax, Tmax,
AUC(o-t) and AUC(0-inf) are same?
Looking forward for your response.
Thanking you in anticipation
With regards,
Shubha

Dear Shubha,
You mentioned that Cmax, Tmax, AUC(o-t) and AUC(0-inf) are the same
after an oral administration of a drug to 2 different populations but
half-life values are different. What happens to the Vd across these
populations? It seems that CL is similar so the differences in
half-life might be due to differnces in Vd between the populations.

Dr. Shubha,
A few questions that would help answer your query;
-How big is the difference in half-life?
-Are you seeing a consistent difference for individuals or are you
comparing
population means?
-What is the size of the population in each cohort and
-What is the CV% in the half-life estimate?
