Dear Sirs:
In the pharmaceutical field, is there a definition for the term "fill
solution"? A librarian recommended your organization and thought you
might know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

In the pharmaceutical industry, the term "fill" is usually associated
with Capsulation technology. That's why the weight of contents in a
capsule is recorded as "capsule fill weight". Thereby relating "Fill
Solution" to Encapsulation, I have come across literature of dosage
forms of liquids and semisolids "Fills" into hard gelatin/non-gelatin
capsules OR dosage forms of liquid, suspension and semisolid "Fills"
encapsulated within a gelatin shell. I guess Liquid Fills can be called
as Fill Solutions.
Somebody in the Parenteral technology field can relate this term to
their discipline as well.
Thanks
