Dear all,
We have a data set consisting of 50 patients who have received an
orally administered drug (taken twice a day for 12 weeks). One blood
sample per patient was taken (typically in an afternoon clinic) every 2
weeks over a 10 week period, but unfortunately, no data was obtained
for the time the doses were taken (apart from before breakfast, which
has informally been determined (by asking individual patients) to be
between 7am and 11.30am). A large amount of PD data is available for
these patients. The literature value for elimination half life is 100
mins.
Given the sparseness of data, a population approach would be neccessary
to attempt to model this data, but we have serious concerns about the
validity of the analysis bearing in mind the retrospectively collected
(guesstimated) dosing times.
Any comments and suggestions for possible approaches would be welcomed.
Thanks !
