Hi,
There has been a lot of work done on prediction of BB ratio using
computers and some work has also been done for milk-plasma ratio. I
wonder has anyone seen any work done for the prediction of
maternal-fetal drug ratio? Tried searching around but the closest I
found is
Luecke RH, Wosilait WD, Pearce BA, et al. A physiologically based
pharmacokinetic computer model for human pregnancy. Teratology 1994; 49
(2): 90-103

Dear Yap Chun Wei,
If this can help you,Ihave done somework with this
"barrier",testing
transplacental passage of new drugs (SR49059, Fondaparinux sodium..)
You willfind datas, explanations on the differences of human placental
transferas well as
relevant bibliography in the references. You can also search for
aninteressant
computermodelling in monkey but limited to Anti retroviral drugs.
Kind regards,
