I would like to know the answer about if the Glimepiride concentrationBack to the Top
in human serum, could we use HPLC with UV detector?

Dear Rojas
Yes. Definitely you can use HPLC with uv detector to estimate
glimepride in human plasma and/or serum. The lambda max is 230.

Dear Rojas,Back to the Top
U can definitely try to estimate the Glimepiride in Plasma by HPLC-UV
using derivatization process. I hope the same can be applied to serum
also.

The best solution of determination of glimepiride in humanBack to the Top
plasma(serum) is LC/MS resp. LC/MS/MS method with liquid-liguid
extraction from acid environment. To use UV detection you must
derivatize the sample.
