exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our team at our
West Point, PA, location of Merck Research Laboratories.
The successful candidate will manage a bioanalytical group that
supports GLP-compliant toxicity studies through method development,
validation, and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical products and
metabolites in biological matrices for toxicokinetic evaluation. The
methodologies will primarily involved LC-MS/MS. Responsibilities
include training and supervising analysts, ensuring compliance with GLP
requirements, and drafting and reviewing SOPs.
BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field. At least 5
years relevant experience. Good interpersonal communication and writing
skills are required, as well as a strong background in sample
preparation, LC-MS operation and troubleshooting. Supervisory
experience and knowledge of LC-MS instrumentation, lab automation
systems, laboratory information systems and GLP regulation is
preferred, but not required.
