What about therapeutic drug monitoring of vancomycin in neonates?
It's really necessary? Of course, I think\0xD6 but:
What are criteria to choose neonate patients to measure levels?
In your international experience what are routine clinical practice?
Plasmatic creatinine levels are routine too?
Do you have data no published but useful?
Have you had to use sometimes 20 to 40 mg/kg dose in one dose q/24 hs. in
patients with normal renal function, for example, like we in our hospital?
I know that
this situation is not usual, but in 1 to 5 % can be really necessary
(depending on the
patient\0xD6. no ?)
I have some published papers and something of our own work, but, perhaps
somebody has something else...
