Hi all,
I'm trying to validate the Michaelis Menten Model in WinNonlin. I'm
getting an error for the dataset and dosing constants I enter...Can
anybody point me to dataset, dosing constants, model parameters to
enter,
before I run the model?
Really appreciate some help.
Thanks,
--Anitha
[MM can be tricky. Check your parameter units. If WinNonlin is using mg
(amount) in the differential equation calculation your Km will need to
be in mg too - db]

Hi Anitha,
It is difficult to understand the problem with the limited information
provided here. Could you be more specific on the error? As well as
some information on the type of dataset at hand would be useful.
If your data come from in vivo study, you can find a code and the data
structure in the book by Garielsson and Weiner (Pk and PD data
analysis: Concepts and applications), page no 337, 1994 [don't have the
new edition].
However, other method to troubleshoot such problems would be to
perform simulations. Instead of model fitting, see how is your model
and model paramters are behaving w/o the original data. If not in
agreement, as David suggested check the parameter units or even
revisit your structural model.
Hope it is helpful.

Can anyone provide me with a simple dataset and model parameters and
dosing constants to run the Michaelis Menten model successfully in
WinNonlin?
