Dear All
I need to know any details for separation of endothelial cells ( BBB
)
for transporter study.
Additional similar information for other tissues ( liver , kidney ,
intestine , Lymphocytes ) will be helpful .
What will be the best controlstandard for P-gp.. Is there any purified
preparation for this protein ? , if not ... any suggestion of
alternative ?

Dear Mohammed,
You can find details on the isolation and culturing of BBMEC's in the

Hi,
Look for the thesis of Pieter Gaillard from Leiden University or
papers from A.G. (Bert de Boer) on the BBMEC co-culture model for the
BBB. It consists of astrocytes and BBMEC grown on two sides of a
filter which gives a nice BBB in vitro model.
