Hi All,
Can anyone suggest a standard centrifugation condition to separate
plasma from 0.3 mL blood sample? I am curious as to the general RPM
and duration that most PK scientists use to separate cellular
components from plasma.
Thanks,
Jason

It depends on the size of the centrifuge. A Beckman microcentriguge
will run at about 11,500 rpm's. Three minutes would be sufficient to
separate the red cells from the plasma. Staanley Cotlere
