Pharsight(R) has released WinNonlin(R) version 5.1.1 as a patch to
WinNonlin 5.1. WinNonlin 5.1 contains some enhancements relevant to
PKS(TM) 3.x users. Current WinNonlin customers should access the
support website for more information about the patch, and other
recent WinNonlin versions, at: http://support.pharsight.com/.
As you may already have heard, Pharsight(R) has plans to release two
new WinNonlin-based software products:
* IVIVC Toolkit(TM) for WinNonlin(R) is an optional, add-in
toolkit for WinNonlin that extends its capabilities beyond
pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and non-compartmental analysis to
the development and application of in vivo-in vitro (IVIVC)
correlations. Read more about the IVIVC Toolkit on Pharsight's
website, at: http://www.pharsight.com/products/prod_IVIVC_home.php.
WinNonlin version 5.1.1 is not compatible with the IVIVC Toolkit. If
you are planning a WinNonlin upgrade and are also interested in the
IVIVC Toolkit, note that both the IVIVC Toolkit and a compatible
update of WinNonlin (v5.2) will be released simultaneously. This may
help you sequence your WinNonlin upgrade plans.
* WinNonlin(R) AutoPilot(TM) is a configurable tool for WinNonlin
that automates the creation of presentation-quality clinical
pharmacokinetic (PK) analyses to be used in standard reports.
AutoPilot orchestrates PK analyses by selecting input data from a
local file system or PKS version 3.X, and then directs WinNonlin to
perform analyses and produce report-quality tables, figures, and text
output (e.g., in SigmaPlot(R), Microsoft(R) Word and Excel(R)) for
regulatory submissions and interim reports. Read more about WinNonlin
AutoPilot at: http://www.pharsight.com/products/
prod_winnonlinap_home.php. If you are planning a WinNonlin upgrade
and are also interested in WinNonlin AutoPilot, note that WinNonlin
AutoPilot is compatible with WinNonlin version 5.0.1 and higher.
*
Pharsight will be at the 2006 AAPS Annual Meeting later this month in
San Antonio, Texas, where live product demonstrations of both IVIVC
Toolkit and WinNonlin AutoPilot will be available (booth #118). We
look forward to seeing you there.
