To all PharmPk readers,
I found some inhibitor and inhibitor cocktail for
amidases and phosphatases, however, it is as applied
to cell lysates.
Has anyone have an experience in inhibiting
phosphatases and amidases in blood and plasma samples.
I tried Calbiochem's Phosphatase Inhibitor cocktail
which includes:
Imidazole, NaF, Na3MO4, Na3VO4,Na Tartrate. at around
1-5mM final conc in plasma and blood. But that doesnt
seem to work.
For the amidase inhibitor, Im trying PMSF for now.
Advice on this matter is welcome.

We have tried Sigma Phosphotase Cocktail Inhibitor 2 for one of our
assays to inhibit phosphotases in plasma and it has worked fine so far.
Thanks,
Kishore
