I am a graduate student currently pursuing pharmacokinetic
investigation of Amodiaquine Hydrochloride in black subjects,
specifically in Ghana. However I am encountering a problem as to
come up with a suitable assay method for both Amodiaquine HCL and
des- ethylamodiaquine from urine samples. Note that owing to
inadequate resources in this part of the world I have been
compelled to limit my research to only urine samples as I can't get
access to plasma (blood) samples. I would therefore be most
grateful if you could furnish me with a suitable analytical method
for the assay of both amodiaquine and its metabolite
desethylamodiaquine. Looking forward to hear favourably from you
soon. Thanks and goodbye.
