Dear group,
We would like to quantify bilirubine and their conjugates in culture
medium.
We try to find the standards for these conjugates, but we can't find
any.
Is there someone who can help us to find them?
Any good reference will be appreciated.

Fabrice,
Thanks for your message. I did some extensive experiments w/ bilirubin
conjugation a few years ago. I am not aware of any commercial sources
of authentic standards of the glucuronides (mono- and di-). The
biosynthesis and separation of the glucuronides is well-described in the
literature.
I'm sure I don't need to remind you that experiments w/ bilirubin
require great care due to the photosensitivity of the substrate. I
recommend short experiments in reduced light using amber plastic- and
glassware.
Best Wishes for success,

Dear Fabrice,
Bioassays Systems located in California, 2007 Catalog offers
Assay Kit (QuantiChrom TM DIBR 180) for quantitative colorimetric
determination of bilirubin at 530 nm with calibrator solution. (2ml,
equivalent to 10mg/dL bilirubin, www.bioassays.com/DIBR.pdf ,)
