Dear friends
I have developed a bioanalytical method with SPE
technique, where Sample volme is 250ul and LOQ
50ng/ml.
If I use 1 ml sample volme the LOQ will be 12.5 ng/ml.
Shall I report that the present(250ul) method LOQ is
12.5ng/ml? or 50ng/ml.
or can I report
LOQ 50 ng/ml FOR 250ul SAMPLE VOLUME
LOQ 12.5ng/ml FOR 1000ul SAMPLE VOLUME
Thanks in advance
Regards
Venkatesh

Dear Venkatesh,
Since this is concentration it won't add up or divide down in any of
the situations. This can happen only in case of amounts ie where the
units are ng,mg etc. In your case you have to report the
concentartion you have actually achieved before SPE procedures.

Hi
Your taking 250ul of plasma. So you have to report LOQ as 50ng/ml .
