Hi
For dosing the rats with powders / solid dispersions in capsules,
which size capsules should be preferably used. Is the regular size 4
ok or for rats it would be too big. I am sure somebody within this
group would have done that, please share the information.
Thanks
Maninder

I have successfully used size 9 for rats using special capsule housing
to dose them into their stomach.

Check out this website. Torpac offers a mini capsule solution for
dosing rats. I've used this before when administering single doses, and
it worked well.. Rats do not do well using capsules in a repeat dose
study.

Thanks for the information.
From your message I get the impression that rats do not do well with
capsule repeat dosing than what is the best way to administer solid
dispersion to the rats for repeat dose study.
Thanks
Maninder
