Does anyone know of a good journal review article that covers
introductory HPLC theory and application in PK studies? I am
searching for something fairly basic and concise that is geared
towards undergraduate students.
Thanks, Alan

[Some of the equipment manufacturers have basic text. I have an old
Varian book, "Basic Liquid Chromatography". I used a Waters 'manual'
with some graduate students. I have a web page at:
http://www.boomer.org/c/p4/c24/c2405.html
with some basic information, google 'hplc' - db]

Simply google the problem on the internet there are several free HPLC
tutorials.
It is also advisable that you do some research involving HPLC so that
you become a star

Varian published a series. Articles from LCGC would work as ancillary
readings.

Hi,Alan,
I think there 2 things you'd better do, 1.knowing how to operate an
hplc system, 2. knowing about how to prepare the samples in your pk
studies through reading some published related literatures, which you
can searched in PubMed.
Hope this work!

Alan-
Regarding articles on HPLC suitable for teaching curriculum, John
Dolan has a series of articles in LCGC North America that might be
useful. Here is the URL for the publication:
http://chromatographyonline.findpharma.com/
Or contact him; he may have something already prepared; you should be
able to contact him via the above publication.
