Dear Colleagues:
I have the pleasure of advising you that the website of the
Multidisciplinary Advisory Council of Noninvasive Imaging Studies
(MACNIS) is now operational and can be found at
http://www.macnis.org
As many of you know, MACNIS is a cooperative effort of scientists to
implement imaging technology to improve the safety and efficiency of
drug discovery and development as well as to improve current clinical
medicine. The effort includes individuals from a broad range of
scientific disciplines, scientists who represent academia, federal
funding and regulatory agencies, both the imaging and the
pharmaceutical industries, and interested professional and scientific
organizations. The main function for MACNIS is to help address
roadblocks limiting the wider and more effective use of imaging-based
tools for target pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics.
Please review the information on this website, share it with any of
your colleagues and associates who should know about this effort, and
contact us with any question or suggestions you may have.
