Dear all
I have some quires about the BCS classification of drugs. My questions
are
1. Where can I get the complete list of drugs based on BCS
classsification?
2. How to differentiate or confirm when the same drug is classified as
BCS class 2 and class 4
3. How to classify NCE's based on permeability to fit in BCS class?
Your suggestions are appreciated . Thank you.
Best wishes

Dear Karthik,
BCS (Biopharmacetical classification system) classifies the drug based
on solubility and permeability of a drug, based on which there are
four classes
Classs1-High Solubility, High Permeability
Classs2-Low Solubility, High Permeability
Classs3-High Solubility, Low Permeability
Classs4-Low Solubility, Low Permeability
(Can you name any drug/s which are both BCS Class 2 and Class 4)
There is a lot of literature available wherein the marketed drugs have
been classified.
few examples gathered from literature are
Class 1 Abacavir Acetaminophen Acyclovirb Amiloride Amitryptyline
