GSK has 3 openings available for Data Integration (US and UK) in the
Pharmacometrics (PMx) group. PMx is seeking solutions for: (a)
delivering real-time access to analysis-ready data sets, (b) gaining
timely access to useful external data (e.g. numerical competitive
intelligence) and (c) exploiting the enormous amount of existing
clinical data GSK holds. The objective of these activities is to
facilitate data analysis and interpretation process and to support
informed decisions making process in Drug Discovery and Development.
To this end, we are forming a small group of three highly motivated
individuals with diverse statistical and programming skills to work in
the PMx group and to interact with Discovery Biometrics, Clinical
Pharmacology Modelling & Simulation, Genetics and Computational Biology.
Main accountabilities include:
(a) Implementing integrated toolset enabling business processes to be
independent of the data capture and data storage tools used, (b)
Delivering data aggregation solutions, exploratory analyses, and data
presentation tools appropriate to support the implementation, the
execution and the timely delivery of PMx projects, (c) developing
exploratory and visual data analysis tools using appropriate
statistical and graphical techniques, (d) Defining and implementing an
integrated and easy-to-use environment that allows users to extract,
transform, manage, query and view data, (e) Defining tools (scripts
libraries) to automate trivial/repetitive activities for data
manipulation, formatting and display.
