Dear All
I was wondering if anyone has any experience installing the G77 fortran compiler on Win Vista/Win 7 to run Adapt 5? I would appreciate if the procedure could be shared in this forum.
Thanks

[Good question. I would like to do the same thing on my Mac. I'm not sure about this version of Adapt but an earlier version included some graphics libraries that didn't seem to be available in g77 fortran - db]

I do not believe that ADAPT 5 and ADAPT II work with the GNU free compiler; however S-ADAPT does.

Hi Manish,
Page on Fortran resources, including free downloadable compilers. I used a
compiler watfor77.exe but not sure whether that will be applicable in your
case.
