Dear all,
We were able to develop a method for a drug(aerosol formulation) using
lcmsms and the LLOQ is 0.4 pg. The S-N ratio is more than 5. But the
problem is contamination in the blank samples of plasma and even in
aqueous samples inspite of taking atmost precaution. At times there is
no interference. Our doubt here is whether there is any chances of the
environment getting contaminated through the moisture in the
atmosphere during sample preparation which could affect at that low
levels.
Our second query is that if a particular mass transititon is selected
for any drug in LCMSMS why there should be any interference(in the
absence of contamination and getting steady baseline).
thanks,
with regards,
Naren.
