greeting everyone,
I wonder have anyone ever had an experience in making pkpd experiment
correlated with circadian rhythms?
regard,

Nisak,
I don't know if this is what you are looking for but
Valdimir Piotrovsky at J&J looked at circadian rhythms in QT studies.
He fitted the data to a three-cosine oscillator.

Dear Mr Duval
Thank you for your respond to my mail, here I try to answer your
question since this is my first time to make an experiment in
pharmacokinetics. i plan to use sulfametoxazole in my experiment. The
answer of your question is :
1. I still do not have any literature which support the estimation
of circadian rhythm on sulfametoxazole and the model I plan to use is
open single compartement.
2. I plan to make a simple experiment to know wether circadian
rhythm has any effects on drug pkarmakokinetics (t1/2, Cmax, Tmax, K
elimination)
3. the analysis is using bratton marshall method, the route of the
drug is oral route in rabbit, with the sampling time is 0 (blank), 10,
20, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 minutes after drug administration.
4. I still need further advice for optimal design.
Thank you very much for your advice.
