Dear All
I would like to know whether the liver microsomes used in drug
discovery contains reductases enzymes. If yes, which reductase and
their content. Do they supercede CYP450 enzymes. I would appreciate if
anyone can provide me literature reference.

Dear Chris,
Yes, liver microsomes contain reductase i.e. NADPH-Cytochrome P450
reductase and they supersedes CYP450 enzyme.
