Hello All:
I am dealing with a drug substance that is showing different stability
profiles with different species. For example it has erratic stability
profile in human plasma (may be blood too) where as it was quite
stable in rat plasma. The drug itself is known to be prone for
oxidation. Did anyone noticed this kind of behaviour? if so what
could be the reason? Are plsma enzymes are different from species to
species?
Any help is appreciated.

Prasad: certainly the type and activity of enzymes will vary with
species. Another parameter to check is the stability of the plasma
itself.

I am seeing this plasma stability issue with few amide compounds too.
But the compounds are stable in human plasma but unstable in rodent.
